Cole has been wanting a tree house in the back yard since we moved here nearly 5 years ago. A couple of weeks ago, he drew some blueprints, took them to Grandpa and made a list of who he needed to help build it. And his dream finally came true...
See the last photo? I had Marty put the first step of the ladder up high enough so that Alli cannot get up there. It breaks her poor little heart when Cole and Ella are up there without her, but it's just not safe enough, yet.
He eats in there, plays in there, climbs the tree from there, hangs out with friends, colors with his sister and wants to sleep in there, but we'll have to wait until it's all finished for that!

Oh Clay would be so jealous! The new place has a lot of trees and has already asked if dad would finally build him one too.. Too fun!!
What a great tree-house! How nice it would be to have mature trees in the yard.
