I love summer storms! The smell of the rain- the lightening and the thunder. And yesterday, I was driving home from Meridian on the freeway around 6:00pm and saw lightening strike so close- I was just sure that it hit the ground. About 30 seconds later, I saw a small fire (about 10 feet long) right on the side of the road on the opposite side of the freeway right where the lightening had stuck! It was so cool, yet scary as well- a little too close for comfort. Isn't nature amazing??! Too bad I don't have a photo.
